There’s something special about waking up here. To start the morning, we will head over to Z Beans Coffee in downtown Macon. It’s a laid-back spot with good coffee and a friendly vibe. The staff is always welcoming, and there’s usually a mix of people working on laptops or catching up with friends. I usually go for a cold brew or a latte, and if I’m hungry, I’ll grab a breakfast sandwich. They have outdoor and indoor seating! Personally, I would sit outside and watch the town slowly wake up and fill with people.
Next, we would head over to Sid’s Sub Shop and pick up some to go lunch for the day! Pack a little cooler and head over to Claystone creek for a perfect day in the sun. The park features a white sandy beach, a playground, and picnic areas—ideal for a relaxed afternoon. We would enjoy swimming, fishing, or simply lounging by the water. Maybe we would even bring our boat and take it out for some tubing or just a nice cruise.
After we are worn out from the sun and water, we would head over to Fall Line Brewery to wind down and laugh about the adventures we had today! Hopefully they will have some live music and a good sunset view!
