As the Multi-Family Property Manager for Fickling & Company’s private market, I enjoy helping people find a new place to live. Many apartment hunters are tired of living at the average apartment community and are looking for a little more. People are looking for unique floor plans, windows with a view and a property manager that really takes care of their residents. What they’re looking for is a personal touch.
I handle a variety of rental units and often match people with the right homes for their needs. In the downtown district, I arrange leasing for 16 exclusive loft units. The square footage and floor plans vary from 600sq. ft to 1200sq.ft. – 1 and 2 bedroom units and include a variety of historic views of our charming southern architecture. A downtown residence is often in demand for people who work and play in the area.
Many of my tenants are downtown business owners and employees. And with so many festivals & live performances held year-round, there is a big advantage to having parking and facilities at your convenience.
In addition to the downtown units, I also manage the leasing for Ocmulgee Springs and Twin Oaks. Ocmulgee Springs is located on the East side of Macon next to GEICO and features a unique mixture of 2-bedroom, 2-bath “Roommate Style” apartments, 2-bedroom duplexes, and 2- and 3-bedroom stand-alone houses. Twin Oaks is off Vineville Avenue on Clisby Place and is a 4-plex featuring 2 bedroom, 1 bath units.
With mortgage rates on the rise, more and more residents recognize the advantage of renting. Others enjoy the hassle-free lifestyle of having landscaping and building maintenance taken care of by the professionals. Whatever the reasons, I enjoy being part of the process of matching people with the right homes.
