Fickling & Company, Inc. announces changes in commercial leadership

Roy Fickling, President and CEO of Fickling & Company, Inc., announced today the hiring of retired Air Force Maj. Gen. Robert McMahon as President of Fickling Management Services, and Senior Vice President of Fickling & Company, Inc. He will succeed veteran commercial and investment real estate professional, Richard DeLisle.

“We are saddened to see Rick go,” said Fickling. “But we are grateful for his consummate professionalism and service to our organization. We look forward to a continued relationship with him in his next role.”

DeLisle will depart at the end of November.

“Stepping down gives me the opportunity to focus on receivership work and the transaction business,”said DeLisle. “Fickling & Company has been a wonderful place for me over the last ten plus years and I look forward to finding new business to work together in the future.”

In his new role, McMahon will be responsible for all commercial operations within the company to include: Commercial Brokerage, Commercial Management and Leasing, and Multi-Family Management and Leasing.

“Bob is a proven leader,” said Fickling. “We look forward to commissioning his dynamic leadership style in the real estate business.”

McMahon retired from the Air Force in 2012, after serving as the commander of the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center at Robins Air Force Base, the largest industrial complex in the state of Georgia. Most recently, he served as the Director of C-17 Field Operations and GISP program lead for Boeing. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors at State Bank Financial Corp. and State Bank & Trust Co. (Macon, Georgia).
