New Member Of The Commercial Real Estate Sales Team

Fickling & Company announces the newest addition to our Transaction Services Team!  Wendy Holmes Pierce recently  transitioned from our Director of Commercial Property Management over to our Transaction Services.

Wendy has spent her 16 year real estate career in the Commercial Real Estate Industry specializing in leasing and management of a mixed portfolio of properties including office, retail and industrial for owners\developers and large institutional companies in the Southeastern United States.  Her roles have included emphasis on the full scope of operations, tenant relations and retention programs, leasing and construction management.  Her expertise is problem solving with a high degree of imagination, ingenuity and creativity for all aspects of commercial real estate.

Prior to joining Fickling & Company, Wendy was a General Manager with Grubb & Ellis and successfully negotiated leases for many Fortune 100, 300 and 500 companies including Merrill Lynch, New York Life, IKON Office Solutions, Robert Half International and Synovus.  Wendy was recruited by Fickling & Company in early 2005 as Director of the Commercial Property Management Division and was responsible for overseeing management, leasing, new business development, and customer/tenant relations of a large portfolio of commercial office, retail and industrial properties. Her experience includes negotiations of leases with such retailers as Subway, Bealls, Honey Baked Ham, Big Lots, PetSmart and Dress Barn. This affiliation introduced her to the leasing of moderate and upscale retail shopping centers where she has participated in the negotiation of leases to Regional and National credit tenants.  She has successfully administered complicated long range property operation plans and budgets including marketing and lease up programs for her clients.  Prior to joining the Grubb & Ellis team, Ms. Holmes had over eight years experience managing commercial real estate for owners/developers in Macon, Georgia.

One of her major accomplishments include repositioning a Class A office property in a difficult market from an occupancy of a little over 70% to 98% allowing her client to sell the investment realizing a profit of over 10 million dollars.  This dedication and level of professionalism earned Wendy a national award for excellence in service while affiliated with Grubb & Ellis – The Circle of Excellence Award.  This award is given to employees who demonstrated their commitment to client service, quality service and team spirit.

Her experience in leasing, management, construction management and tenant improvement projects and dedication to her clients strengthens her ability to serve her clients with the utmost in professionalism.
