Peach County Georgia Growth

When I think of Peach County Georgia, I think of lazy hot summers, cold lemonade, front porch swings, and of course, peach cobbler.  But Peach County, with all of its Southern Charm, is also a thriving community.  From Fort Valley to Byron, Peach County is changing and growing. Peach County’s Chamber of Commerce and the Development Authority is poised to lead the business community by serving as its advocate, promoting the county, recruiting new businesses in the areas of industrial, manufacturing, distribution, corporate and regional headquarters, customer service centers, and assisting with other major economic development projects. Of course, Peach County also works hard to keep the industry it has already recruited to the area. Approximately 80% of all new jobs come from existing industry expansion. Peach County has established itself as an industry-friendly community with its successful agricultural, manufacturing, service and distribution businesses. Additionally, Peach County, specifically the City of Byron, has become a focus of residential developers.  And as we mentioned in our previous article, where there are rooftops, retail and other new industry will follow.

Given its central location and close proximity to Warner Robins, Macon, Perry, and even Atlanta, Peach County continues to be an ideal place for business.  Below are some quick facts and demographics about the Peach County community.
